Democrats are out of touch

I have been listening to different news sources and reading social media, do you know what I have concluded? Liberals are out of touch with most of the country. You have politicians calling for an end to fossil fuels in the next ten years; are you kidding me? The United States has just recently become petroleum independent. Liberals are calling for the electoral college to be abolished and the only reason I can come up with is that they lost the Presidential election so obviously the system is broken. I remember Mrs. Clinton asking Mr. Trump if he would abide by the election results because she was so absolutely sure she was going to win! Politicians, who happen to be democrats, want you to believe that illegal immigrants should have the same rights we have yet newborns have no right to life because they are not people. Women should have the right to kill their babies in the third trimester because it would be a strain on her lifestyle! Wake up people! If having a child is going to be a burden on you then don’t get pregnant. What is wrong with you? And just because I am a man does not mean that I cannot speak or have an opinion on this. You want free healthcare for all, even illegals, although you have no clue how to pay for it. Believe me, I know a little bit about this subject. I’m a disabled veteran and god forbid something bad happens to my health because I cannot get in to see my doctor for months. Please don’t tell me but Rich, you have the choice program so you can see an outside provider if your doctor can’t see you within thirty days. I’ll give you the inside skinny on the choice program! If you cannot be seen within thirty days, the VA puts you in touch with the choice program. Once they call you they have to qualify you for an outside provider, which I am actually going through right now. When you’re qualified, they have to find an outside provider that will see you, I have been trying to be seen for my back. I have a carbon fiber cage in my back that has broken and actually tore the lower anchor screws out of my vertebrae. It’s very painful by the way! After 47 days I received a call from an outside provider that scheduled me to be seen in the next available new patient appointment, another 23 days to be seen. Now comes the next problem, this appointment is only so they can schedule me for MRI’s because they have never seen me before. So I have to get that taken, once they receive the pictures they can schedule me to actually talk with the doctor about surgery. Then I have to wait for approval from the doctor and the choice program to see the surgeon, he will schedule me to be seen by his office so that he can evaluate me and schedule my surgery. The choice program has to approve the referral for surgery and finally they have to get the hospital to schedule a time for the surgery. All in all, I am looking at about six to eight months to have a surgery so that my vertebrae doesn’t slip over each other that would cause more nerve damage and or paralysis. If you put everyone in this country on single payer or government run healthcare it would be a disaster. People would literally be dying before they get seen by a doctor. I hear nothing about are economy, which is fantastic by the way, nor do I hear anyone in government on either side condemning all this talk about socialism. If you want to live in a socialist country move to Venezuela and eat dog while wiping your arse with palm leaves. Good day sir, I said good day!
